In Week 8 of the NFL season we got to watch the 49ers defense return to form and dominate the Cardinals, Cam Newton's whining and moaning can now be directed at himself after throwing a pick 6 that helped the Bears come back in the 4th for a one point win at home over Carolina, Phillip Rivers and coach continued to show why I think San Diego should get rid of them ASAP in a 7-6 loss to the Browns, people in London got to watch firsthand the Patriots throttle the St. Louis Rams, the Jets descent into embarrassment continued with a butt whooping by the Miami Dolphins (hey Rex - I think it is Tebow time), the Eagles defense cashed their paychecks but I don't think they earned them in a 13 point loss at home to the still undefeated Falcons, the Giants held a 23-0 lead before the Cowboys stormed back to take the lead and then let it slip away as the Gaints pulled out a win, and on Sunday night we watched Peyton Manning and company pick apart the sad Saints defense and Drew Brees looked lost as the Saints got whipped by the Broncos.  Let's watch what week 9 has in store...
